Commitment to Community
Over the years, Brad Korb and his team have been fortunate enough to give back to the Burbank and surrounding community through both time and monetary resources. Supporting these causes is a way for The Brad Korb Team to help strengthen the community and is a reflection of the team’s commitment to making Burbank and the San Fernando Valley an even better place to live, work and play!
Brad’s commitment to the Burbank community includes letting them know what is happening through his monthly publication, the Burbank Bulletin, which reaches 25,000 households. This privately-owned community newspaper has reserved space for non-profit organizations like the local soccer leagues, the Boy Scouts, the public library, the City of Burbank and the Burbank Temporary Aid Center, where Brad’s wife Nancy serves on the board of directors and volunteers.
Contributions have also been made to such local organizations as the Starlight Bowl, Burbank Parks and Recreation, Burbank Tournament of Roses, Burbank Boys & Girls Club, Burbank Noon Lions, Burbank Temporary Aid Center, local libraries and the Burbank Kiwanis Club.
The Starlight Bowl is Burbank’s premier outdoor entertainment venue and provides a convenient location for families to enjoy high-quality entertainment on Independence Day and Sundays throughout the summer. The Starlight Bowl has been a performance hot spot for community based programming and special guests for generations of families in the San Fernando Valley. The Brad Korb Team is a proud sponsor of the Starlight Bowl and the events hosted there for the community.
The Brad Korb Team also contributes to the Burbank Parks and Recreation Department, which provides the community with a variety of parks and recreational services for residents of all ages in Burbank. Burbank’s parks and programs are renowned for providing positive recreational opportunities for our community’s youth and access to organized recreational programs that reinforce the community spirit.
Each New Year’s Day, The Brad Korb Team is pleased to know they have contributed to the Burbank Tournament of Roses, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that designs, builds and decorates Burbank’s float entry into the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. While most of the floats in this annual celebration are made by professional companies, the Burbank float is one of the few that is a collaborative effort on the part of the Burbank community.
Supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank is a favorite of The Brad Korb Team, as this unique organization has a clubhouse and ten after-school enrichment sites that are able to positively enrich the lives of over 750 children in the Burbank community. A variety of programs initiated by the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank serve to enhance our children’s academic and social skills for brighter futures.
The Brad Korb Team is also a proud supporter of the Burbank Noon Lions Club and Kiwanis Club of Burbank. These organizations help support local projects and programs designed to help local families in need and other various charities and programs which benefit the community.
