Sharing the importance of building relationships with your clients.

For agents, conversations and appointments with clients are essential. Our team has recently modified our way of doing this, so we’re here to share some advice with you today. 

We always ask our clients to come to the office first for a meet-and-greet. Also, we ask the lender to come so the client will feel comfortable with them too. Plus, the client will then get the chance to understand what’s required of them in today’s market to get a loan. Then we talk about the possibility of an interest rate buydown and money for closing costs.

Appointments like this present an opportunity to bond one on one with the client. Talk about what's important to them in their home search. What kind of a neighborhood are they looking for? Do they want something close to schools? Do they want something walkable or an easy commute to their office? Do they need a special place for a home office? These are things you need to understand as their agent, and this meeting will help you do that. 

It’s essential that you create good relationships with your clients. Then you will also be in a great position to help with their family members, friends, and coworkers in the future. This industry is all about relationships.
