North Hollywood is home to several local parks and recreation centers, including the North Hollywood Recreation Center, where you’ll find baseball, basketball, handball, tennis, a seasonal pool, a playground, picnic areas, and a gymnasium, and the Valley Plaza Recreation Center, home to an additional football field. Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park has a special aviator memorial, and North Hollywood Park includes amenities such as a skate plaza, memorial rink, Amelia Earhard Statue, and even a Regional Library.

North Hollywood is also home to the North Hollywood Adult Learning Center.
