Though mostly residential, Mission Hills is home to the beautiful and historic Mission San Fernando Rey de España (the San Fernando Mission), which was established in 1797 and served as a church in 1920. Today, it is a museum open for tours as well as a chapel-of-ease.

There’s also plenty of shopping and dining to be found on nearby S. Workman Street in neighboring San Fernando, as well as numerous restaurants along the bustling Sepulveda Boulevard.
