Eagle Rock public school students are served by Los Angeles Unified School District, of which there are nine schools located in Eagle Rock. Schools include Celerity Troika Charter School, Dahlia Heights Elementary, Eagle Rock Elementary, Rockdale Elementary, Delevan Drive Elementary, Tolay Want, Annandale Elementary, Santa Rosa Charter Middle School, Eagle Rock High School, and the Renaissance Arts Academy charter high school.

There are also several private schools serving the community, including Fusion Academy and Learning Center, American Montessori Preschool and Elementary, Montessori Children’s World, Westminster Academy, and more. It is also home to the premier Occidental College.
